Executive Abstract
Over 60% of all groundstroke and return collisions in competitive tennis occur outside the longitudinal midline of the stringbed. Off-center impacts produce violent rotational twisting torque along the racket's z-axis, deflecting the racket face and transferring destructive torsional shock waves into the wrist and elbow.
