Executive Abstract
A straight drop shot down the line can sometimes be retrieved by fast sprinters. The master variation is the Angled Crosscourt Drop Shot: carving around the Outer Lateral Hemisphere of the ball with an open Continental blade. The ball bends sharply across the court, landing inside the service box near the singles sideline and bounding sideways off the court, doubling the running distance for the defender.
