Rhythm and Relaxation
Tension is the enemy of fluidity and pace. Elite players use selective relaxation: tense only at the moment of contact, relaxed through preparation and follow-through. The breath pattern matters too: exhale at contact to release tension. Mastering relaxation improves racquet head speed and reduces fatigue.
