Contact Point in Tennis
The contact point is where the ball meets the strings, and it determines the consistency, power, and direction of every shot. For groundstrokes, the ideal contact is out in front of the body, at a comfortable height (waist to chest for forehands, knee to waist for low balls). Inconsistent contact is the primary cause of errors.
