Advanced — Basics
The main reference for the biomechanics of shot production.
Mastery Manual
- The Advanced Tennis Mastery Manual — Neurology and Anatomy for 3.5 to 4.5 — the long-form reference for shot-production biomechanics. Read it when you have a quiet hour. Use it as a reference when you have a question.
New Additions (2026-07)
- Singles Tactical Patterns & Shot Selection — the four phases of a point and the repeatable shot patterns within them; the singles counterpart to the Doubles Patterns content
- Scouting & Reading the Opponent Guide — pre-match and in-match methods for identifying and exploiting specific tendencies
- Score Management, Clutch Points & Tiebreaks Guide — a tactical layer on top of the Mental Game content: playing big points and tiebreaks differently, on purpose
- In-Match Tactical Adaptation Guide — recognizing when a game plan has stopped working, and how to adjust without overhauling it
How to Use This Section
The Mastery Manual is dense and long. It's not meant to be read once and finished. It's meant to be worked — read a section, take it to the court, come back the next week and reread the same section with fresh eyes.
The first read will feel like too much. The fifth read will feel obvious. That's the pattern with every deep reference document.
