Muscle Memory and Motor Learning
Muscle memory (more accurately, motor learning) is the process by which repeated practice creates automatic, unconscious motor patterns. The key to building muscle memory: thousands of quality repetitions, ideally in varied conditions. Sleep is essential for motor memory consolidation—practice without adequate sleep is largely wasted.
